Ch ch ch ch CHANGES

As I am now 26 years old, and had a 12-day/month-long celebration to prove it, it's time to do a little growing up. By growing up, of course, I mean my height, which is lacking as per usual. I need some new shoes. Also, however, it's time for a little change in my life.

I'm starting with my overall health and choice of activities. I had a little accident involving a wine glass, some old intoxicated people, and a trip to the ER for 2 stitches in my right index finger. This little injury prevented me from climbing for 2 weeks, and by then, we were into my birthday week already, and therefor not doing much climbing. So today, the Greek is taking me to Planet Granite to do some climbing. It's so weird, being out of the game for a while, and I'm a bit nervous to go back, but also excited. The Greek and I are not back together. Even though he totally wants to be an item again, I'm just not about all that. Gotta go in different directions... But we can still climb together, right?

I am also going to start really expanding my horizon. In many ways. I went on a canoe trip on Saturday with my brother and a bunch of his friends, and Noah, and we all had a great time. This just proved to me that I should really be getting out there and doing new things with new people. I am also going to start accepting more invitations to do things I wouldn't normally do.

I have an okCupid profile (not at all ashamed) that I've been using for the past couple of months... I've been on a couple of dates, and although only one of said dates was with a guy who I would date again, I'm into it. I going to start really using okCupid to my advantage. There are plenty of men/guys who want to date me, so why not? I have to get out of this stagnant phase and really hit the town. I'm gonna become a pro at first dates. I think it's an important skill. And who knows, I might meet someone who I really like!

I'm also going to start going out more, to new places, with new people. Do you have any suggestions? Please, let me know if you do! Guy or girl, it's time to start going out with new people, and hitting up parts of the city that I usually don't. This is not to say that I want to stop hanging out with any of my fabulous friends, but in that case, go to new places. I'm just gonna let this all go in a very organic fashion. I might also start really talking to more people at the gym. I've met so many people there, and everyone is super-friendly, so why not?

I hope you're ready for all the juicy material that I'm gonna get from the upcoming date-a-palooza... I really don't know if you are.
Starting this week:
- Going out with Guitar Man, a hot 32-year old from okCupid that I went out with before my birthday. This one definitely merits a repeat.
- Meet/date Camera Guy. Another okCupid guy that I've been messaging with for quite a while, but haven't met in person yet.
- Hang out with SFPD, my hot cop who loves me (saw him the night before my birthday, out in the Marina. Great time!)
- Dinner with Google (a friend of Alejandro's. Remember Alejandro? He used to date Precious. The one who's friends with R2 and has the amazing arms... Yeah, that one.) So Alejandro tried to hook me up with Google months ago, but it simply wasn't meant to be... I'll give it another shot. Hell, he showed up solo to my birthday party and then rolled out to Ruby Sky with us the following night... He must like me at the least. Why not?

These are all steps in the right direction. It's always a good idea to date. The more the better, especially if he's buying, right? It's not like I'm gonna whore my shit around, but there's no harm in going out.

So wish me luck in my endeavours, of course I'll also be hanging out with Precious, planning out my future with my mom, and playing with Owen. Who knows, this week could also be the return of Mara...

Until next time, Bitches. Xo

Side note: It's Al Green appreciation day in the office. I highly recommend it to everyone.
