I love you like a fat kid loves cake.

So it's been pretty quiet around here lately since my last post. Thanksgiving was awesome, obviously. My mom and I hung out and cooked up a feast, took a great hike, and ate big time.
I decided that it was in my best interest to hit the mall on black friday and pick up a few things. Since Precious was starting her new job over at the
Stownstown Galleria, I decided it would be nice of me to give her a ride and hit the mall upon opening.

We left the house at 4:35 am and I was the first customer in the doors of Victoria's Secret. What. Up. Scored tons of shit, hit up Foot Locker for
some new kicks, and got a bunch of other various awesome items, including, but not limited to: Bare Escentuals makeup (if you don't know about this stuff, I insist that you learn, immediately), "How I Met Your Mother" Season 2 DVD set (if you haven't gotten involved in this show, you are seriously doing yourself a HUGE disservice, so get on that shit, it's legendary.) Also, gift with purchase from VS, black hoodie, really cute hot pink tree ornaments (we set up the tree on Sunday, and it looks magical, obviously) and leopard print stilettos.

After the mall, I headed to the
Sally Spicer Bag Company warehouse on 3rd street by the baseball park. I had arranged to help her work the holiday sample sales and trunk shows to get some cash, experience, another professional reference, and hopefully some bags!! We did great getting all the inventory together, so we headed over to the site of the sale, which was starting on Saturday. She had us park across the street, which was a terrible idea, because within 15 minutes, our cars were both towed. It cost her $600 to get them out, which really put a damper on her day. I decided to rally and really do an amazing job merchandising and selling. After that whole fiasco, my brother needed the car, so I headed over to pick him up, after which
he came to my place to help me unload my trunk full of treasures.

We had to go up to Marin for our step-mom's birthday dinner shortly thereafter, so I had no time to hit the gym post-Turkey Day. Boo. I relaxed for a bit while Josh went home to get his stuff, dick around, pick up his girlfriend, and then come back to get me.

By the time we got to Big Poppa's place, we only had an hour before we had to leave for dinner. I had been up for over 12 hours at this point, but, being the champion that I am, I hopped in the shower and beautified in less than 20 minutes. I still had time to go through all the Shabbat rituals with the family, and hit up Walgreens for Parliament Lights on my way to the Lark Creek Inn for dinner with Bigg Poppa, Esther, Esther's oldest friend Carla, Josh, Sarah, and ME!

I hadn't been there for some time, and they had changed the menu/chef, as well as the name, which is now The Tavern at Lark Creek, I think. Anywho, Josh and I split a "Little Gems" salad and the best mac-n-cheese of my life for appetizers. The salad had pomegranate seeds, goat cheese, walnuts, and a champagne vinaigrette that was unreal. The mac-n-cheese was like this: deep fried bars of macaroni and cheese with a fondue pot of cheddar cheese. Like, really, I can die a happy person now. It was seriously the best thing I've even eaten. For real. My mouth actually just started watering while I was typing the description of that dish. "You know you're fat when..."

For our entrees, I ordered a steak, but of course, I didn't like the setup, so I asked for them to do some vegetables, and it was the best thing I could have done. This beautiful steak came out on a bed of sauteed spinach and zucchini, and it was phenomenal. Again, my mouth is watering. Not ok. My brother ordered egg pasta with Bolognese sauce, and I agreed to share, but he definitely killed the better half of both dishes. I was not as impressed as he was by the pasta, but it was certainly a great dish. I had a wonderful glass of champagne, which I would only order when my dad is paying, so that was great.

We ordered all the desserts for the table, and I took a taste of all of them, but in reality, all I could think about was having babies with that mac-n-cheese appetizer.

By the time I got home, I was so tired, there was no way I was leaving the house, so I just passed out, knowing I had to get up early for the sample sale with Sally. Best idea of my life. Seriously. Saturday was another very long day. We sold a ton of bags, and I really worked the crowd, if I do say so myself. I modeled several bags for women who were buying gifts, and I would say I had found my calling, however, I think I'm far too intelligent to be a model, right? So anyways, I left the show at around 3, with a nice little wad of cash, and headed over to the gym to get a great climb in, since my body was aching for it.

I had a rock star day climbing, and I was psyched to have nothing scheduled for the following day, and I knew I had plenty of booze in the freezer as well. It took me and Precious about 2 hours to catch up on the prior 2 days since we had seen each other last and then we headed out to drink. Nothing epic happened; we went by Buckshot to say hi to that sexy bartender, but he was way busy, so we just got a drink and headed over to Blue Light to hopefully see some entertaining shit go down, which we certainly did.

That bar was so full of drama on Saturday night, I can't even begin to explain. In fact, I won't. I was definitely too drunk to remember most of it, as was Precious, but I will tell you these things: there was an extremely rowdy table of assholes who kept breaking glasses, and Sydney the bartender was not too thrilled about this, among other things. It would seem that she and the other bartender (the not-so-single sexy one) were in some kind of a spat, which was extremely entertaining to watch from our side of the bar. Precious was on fire, drunk as I've seen her in quite some time, and in excellent form, whispering things about people who were totally in earshot and not being subtle at all about it.

By about 1, I got a text from the sexy Buckshot bartender telling me to come back a get drinks, and that he was sorry he was so busy. Mmmmmk. No. I can't. Precious and I were so fucking wasted at this point, there was no way we were drinking anything else. Except that one shot that those dudes insisted on buying us before our departure. In the cab ride home, Precious told me many things that I needed to know, including what exactly the bartenders were fighting about and what STDs they might have. Ha. (She totally had no recollection of this.) So we went home, made a buffet of snacks, and passed out very quickly after starting disc 3 of How I Met Your Mother Season 2.

On Sunday, we decorated the house for Christmas, nursed hangovers, ate, slept, and I went to the gym again, 'cuz I'm a superstar! My climb was definitely not what it could have been, especially since I got stuck climbing with this really large Greek guy who was very loud, and everything he did, from his talking to his moves on the wall, was BIG. It was a lot to take under the hungover circumstances, and I felt really bad, because this really hot guy made a partner call right after I had agreed to climb with this Greek douche. Clearly, I cut that short and made my way over to the very hot but kinda granola dude who still had no belay partner. His name was Wiley (obviously) and he was not only hot, but really sweet, too. The gym was about to close, but I wanted him to get a chance to get on the wall. After his first climb, which blew my mind (the difficulty level), he asked me if I had another one in me. Yeah, I do! So I decided to do a route that I knew I would not only finish in one try, but I would make it look really easy, 'cuz that's how I roll. He was very generous with the compliments, and then he did another kick-ass Spider-Man climb that made my climb look like child's play.

Anyways, enough of the climbing shit, I know no one cares. It was a great weekend, I was so happy to have a wonderful Thanksgiving, great shopping day, work my ass off at the sample sale and at the gym, and eat well while watching How I Met Your Mother with my best friend.
I already know that this weekend will be crazy fun, because I plan to make it that way, and I have awesome friends. I will not, however, be attending R2D2's birthday party, because that would suck for me, and he only invited me out of pity/guilt or something. I will be working the 3rd Street Warehouse Sale on Saturday, if you want to come by and get some haute bags at below-wholesale prices (do it, do it).

Love love, friendship. Have a wonderful week, and pray that I meet the perfect, healthy, sexy, rich, sweet guy with a giant penis and no drug abuse problems at the gym this week. I need to start getting laid regularly again, for fuck's sake, and I also need someone to treat me like the wonderful, sexy woman that I am.
