Oh, MY!

I suck. That's really all there is to it. I. Suck. At. Life.
My father actually mentioned my blog to me today, in some context (I was only half-listening), and I realized that I haven't written in a while. My brother mentioned how hysterical my previous post (about him) was, and I was l
ike, obviously it's hilarious, I wrote it.
I couldn't remember just how long it had been, and I am absolutely baffled by how much amazing, blog-worthy shit has gone down since. Since there's really no way in hell to detail the past three months, I'll do you one better:

Los Angeles
Tanya, Sam, Me, Shira. Hollywood shitshow.

Treasure Island Music Festival
Sam came up for this AMAZING festival (Miike Snow, Deadmau5, LCD)
We danced for like 4 hours straight with Josh, Chris, and a few guest stars... It was a goddamn EPIC time.

Owen's birthday
WHAT a night this was. We put together this amazing spread from Bi-Rite, and had a feast of cocktails, champagne, about 6 different types of beautiful cheeses and salami, and wonderful company. I really am a fantastic party planner. It's true. I made these little hours d'œuvres of tomato, fresh mozerella, basil, pesto, and balsamic... Delish.

NYC with Sam and Shira
Talk about a shitshow. When you get us in a city where bars don't close til 4ish, there are bound to be stories. This trip really deserves a blog post for itself, but I just can't. Suffice it to say, it was a goddamn blast. The three of us are a real circus. Key words from this trip include: cannoli in LIttle Italy, Shopping in the Village, snacks from Zebars, walking in Central Park, drinking... Well, drinking everywhere!

Cuzzie Brad's wedding in LA
Super SUPER fun wedding weekend in SoCal. I was totally sick post-NY, but rallied for the rehersal dinner, where I proceeded to skip dinner and drink a bottle of champagne. When we left, I insisted that my parents take me to Wolfgang Puck for a salad and mac and cheese to soften the blow that was waiting for me in the morning. My mother told me that I kept saying Wolfgang PUFF. Christ.

Followed directly by Thanksgiving
We went to my dad's friend's girlfriend's house, where she had a huge number of people gathered, and had place-cards for each person. I was separated from my family on a day for family, and forced to sit at a kids table where I decided that there was no other option besides "KEEP DRINKING." It worked out well for me, I think.

VEGAS with Jeanne and Skye and their Medical School peeps.
My roommates/heroes in life. Holy hell.
Three VERY drunkfaces.
This trip was amazing. We had just an absolutely jolly time. Totally drunk the entire trip, but that's what Vegas is all about... Also, there was a ballroom dance competition at our hotel. THAT'S entertainment.

Lindsey and I had a holiday party at the apartment
Total success! This photo was taken of us at 5 am, in the midst of a gay, all-Mariah Carey dance party in my bedroom, starring Gabe, Owen and Abdul-Latif, and ME! We were in excellent form, if I say so myself.

That just about brings us up to speed. I have a new post coming tomorrow, in the spirit of New Year's...
