Hey Baby, what's your name?

Things haven't by any means been slow around here, believe that. It's just been a whirlwind of fun times, drunken and otherwise, house parties, drag shows, dance parties, bar hopping, hot boys climbing without their shirts on and Jew Night!

I've been as socially active as possible, mostly meaning talking to hot shirtless guys at the climbing gym. As I am well aware, nothing lasts forever, and for better or worse, my days of stringing the Greek along are numbered. We broke up months ago, and I am seriously over having to talk him into the idea that a friendship with sex does not a relationship make. It's like, really, though. Isn't that what most guys want? Easy. No drama. Just fun, climbing, going out to eat, and lots of sex. I don't want to be his girlfriend, but he's such a woman sometimes, it's difficult to make him understand that I just want the fun part, not the boyfriend drama part/the boyfriend part. It's so much easier for me to be single. I'm not saying that I'm out fucking every guy I meet, by any means, but I just don't like feeling attached to someone who's not the right guy just for the purpose of getting laid. By a guy who's body literally shits on every athlete who participated in the World Cup. Those abs are seriously worth doing whatever it takes. Mmmm.

Anyways, I just took a little road trip down to LA to see some friends and get the hell out of this city for a minute. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE San Francisco! I just needed a little break. And to change it up, you know?

I used to live in LA, but over the last couple of years, each time I go down there, I usually see friends who I've met since moving back to SF. My friend Samantha is a wonderful specimen of a human. I'm crazy about this broad. We always have a great time, and lots of laughs. She's become even better over the past year, after loosing her boyfriend and about 1/3 of her body mass, she's all about going out and having fun, which I adore. We hit some bars, went to a pool party at the downtown Standard, and had a great time. Not that it was a surprise, but I ended up staying both nights at my good friend David's house, rather that at Sam's.

Yeah, yeah, surprise, surprise, another David. He and I met about 2 1/2 years ago, when I went down to see my friend Jonny. It was like crazy sparks flying from the moment we laid eyes on each other. He and I get along famously. There's no fuss, no strings, great sex and lots of drinking and dancing. What could be better? How lucky am I, that I can always count on him to be there, to take me out, and to make me smile each time I go to LA? Super lucky. It's like a blessing, really. Even when we haven't seen eachother in several months, we pick things up like no time has passed. It's so nice to have that with someone!

Why can't all relationships be so simple? I mean, I do realize that living across the state from one another keeps things light, but still. We don't argue, we're both easy-going borderline alcoholics, and he is actually an interesting guy. I brought him along on this Vegas trip a couple of years ago, back when Precious and I were young Spring chicks, without a care in the world. It was an awesome trip, I must admit. We gambled, ate, drank, danced, and hit up this crazy after-hours club where we put on a dance clinic. Really, though. We pretty much owned the dance floor. I can't really imagine bringing another guy on a trip like that. He's so easy and loves to just have fun!

Anyways, enough about that David. Onto other pressing items. Like my birthday. Which is coming up at the end of this month!

I am so excited I can barely breathe. For real, though. I booked a karaoke machine, have a few LA friends trekking up for the event, and about 7 dates on standby. Yesssss. We've got my two wonderful friends lined up to DJ my favorite jams, tons of booze and champagne, as well as about 300 jell-o shots. Jeanne will be in town for it, which is epic, since she's missed my past few birthdays. That seriously makes it worth throwing a huge obnoxious party! Shira will unfortunately be out of the country, boo, but we're celebrating now. Is it wrong that my birthday is the absolute most important day (more like MONTH) of the year? Not at all, not at all...

After the big party, Precious and I are off to Vegas. Again. Haha. This will by the first time we go in honor of MY birthday, so I'm super-juiced for this one! We just went at the beginning of May, but it was such an amazing trip, we've decided to have a re-run.

Oh, you want a re-cap of our May adventure? Ok, fine:

Sorry for being such a flake, I promise to start writing again regularly. Kisses!
